I’m a retired Veteran from the Canadian Armed Forces and retired government employee. My first woodworking venture came when we were looking to purchase two corner desks for our two youngest children. After looking at a simple design in a store, I thought I’d give it a go and see if I could do it myself. Woodworking was originally a hobby, something I liked to dabble in, but it was always something I wanted to do as a full time hobby. After my career in the Federal government ended, I embraced the spark of creative passion and now do woodworking full time.

In retirement, woodworking is my sanity, it gives me purpose and allows me to give back. My wife and I have formed a woodworking team. I make everything and she does all the finish sanding and finishing. As a lifelong nurse, Linda has a keen eye for detail and makes sure that the end product is sanded and finished perfectly.

As someone who pays close attention to detail, I find it important to let the beauty of the wood shine through. I am passionate about my work, my wife and I strive for perfection in these one-of-a-kind pieces. I like to connect with my clients, we have a conversation so that they are confident that the project they receive from us is exactly what they wanted, envisioned, and delivered.

I do a lot of projects for the Military community, both serving members and veterans. As a proud veteran of the Cold War, it helps me feel connected with current and retired service members who look for pieces to celebrate their selfless careers and note important achievements.

If you would like to own a custom-made piece that I’ve mentioned, or have an idea for a project in your mind, please get in touch through the Contact Us or my Facebook page
